KNUTH RP 9 Rotation Punching Machine

The new FP6 Multi-Tool Fix Punch press from Knuth has a multi tool with 6 tools and a 30 Ton capacity. The main frame is made from a welded steel construction. All the stressed points were designed with a large radius to prevent welding cracks. The frame is full stress relieved during welding and after welding. The machine has very strong and rigid frame according to its competitors. The X & Y axes are on linear guide ways and ball screws. Each axis is controlled by a servo motor. Electrical circuit components are supplied by Siemens, Telemacanique and Merlin Gerin. Position accuracy is 0.1mm. Hydraulic system components are supplied by Rexroth and Bosch. The hydraulic seals are supplied by Merkelor Busak. The Machine has an auto sheet lubrication system.

The 6 stations multi tool reducers are used to convert to A,B,C,D style tooling. This machine can use Trumpf and thick turret type tooling. An automatic repositioning system allows punching in the clamp area on long sheets of 2000mm +.

The angular pitch can be ±0.02° Auto Repositioning Automatic repositioning allows machining of sheets longer than 2000 mm. The machines can cover and area 1250 mm x 2000 mm without repositioning and 1250 mm x 6000 mm with three lateral repositions. This feature is also valuable in punching in the so called 'dead zone'.
